AT THE PIMA COUNTY FAIR
It was a Sunday on April 12, 2009 -
four days before the kick off.
The day was bright.
The sun was shining.
Assembly was in full swing...
The bees were buzzing.
Bzzzzzz.
Bzzzzzzzz.
Control panels waited for a hook up,
and ...
nuts to be screwed.
The big lizard lost his tail
during a daring escape,
in prehistoric times.
He’s been carrying it around
from fair to fair ever since.
The Indi 500 winner got dust off,
ready for spotlight.
The merchant stands
were flexing their attractive muscle
of customer hypnotization.
The Cotton Candy Castle was sparkly
on the outside.
The finishing touches were put
on the inside.
Doors opened on April 16.
There was no stop...
To laughs,
Screams,
and stomach aches.
The night was filed with entertainment...
And crazy spinorama.
On April 26, the crowd
was out and on 27 the sour
wrap up in.
The MEGA DROP was dropped.
The skeletons
were going back in the closet.
The ice cream
  finished.
I thank you all for coming. :)
