The man in the foreground is observing the traffic, but the last man on the far left observing his own car that was rammed into by another 18 wheeler that was trying to skip through. Under mayor Richard M. Daley many housing projects were demolished in order to make room for new cottages and to make the city more tax profitable and viable. The black and white photo of Windy City residents documents their activities in off hours. Architecture of the famous downtown area dominates the background with two women in the foreground – one is looking at the second one, while she is preparing to jump in the Lake Michigan. The sailor was going to see his wife before shipping out to the high seas; the pigeon just wanted the leftovers from the sailor’s sandwich.
